Hi guys,
02 bugeye here.
Today I slammed my door shut and then remember I forgot something so I yanked on the handle, heard a metallic snap and then nothing. The exterior door handle has no linkage to the lock.

I opened up the panel and see that the metallic linkage (long bent metal pole) is laying flat on the bottom.

I know the solution should be to literally plug it back into the door handle and then plug it back to the lock but I have absolutely no idea where this linkage connects!

There's little space for my gorilla hands so I'm worried I'll have to completely take apart the door.

Anyone have some experience with this? Images?

For now I'll be the cool guy getting into my car from the passenger side.
