i'm about to get a the sti lip for my 04 wrx... but i LOVE my ride feel and hieght right now, my question is, will my car look hella funny with the lip and sideskirts without being lowered? has anyone done this to their car? pictures?

 

I know a few who have not changed the springs and have had on lips and sideskirts. It actually offsets the space between the front wheel and makes the car look lower. Just my .02

If you put on a classy non-rice lip it wont look funny, it will look good. It cancels out the gap and makes it look lower, trust me.

But if you choose a lip that looks funny, no matter how high your car is it will look funny

Like Rush said, a good looking lip will make an unlowered Impreza look lower and sleeker (e.g. a better body line), but getting something ridiculous like a ricey "Street Fyter" kit or something like that will make it look like a snowplow.

Hence, the STi will look good even without lowering your Impreza. Are you thinking of the Ver. 1 or Ver. 2?

 

hmm i dont know what ver. number it is... it is the only STi JDM Front Lip Spoiler that would go on my 04... thanks for hte replies though!
