legacy differences

hey can anyone tell me the visual diffrences between the 97, 98, 99 Subaru Legacy GT's. Like front/rear bumpers or anything like that.

im pretty sure, all the differences are in the paint, ive noticed that with my 99 leg, the sideskirts and lips on the bumpers are the same color as the body, and on some other gt's, they arent. this could be because mine is a limited, and theres isent, but i have also seen a limited with a white body, and black lips. so really, this doesent help at all. sorry

cant find the 99 thats not a special edition right now, or are they all special editions?hmmm

grills are the same 97-99. 96 they were different along with no hood scoop and not being able to get a 5 MT....and probably a few other differences. Also some later 99 models i think have a SOHC engine not a DOHC engine.

Fog light setup is different, spoiler is slightly different, grills, underbody spoilers (I think), hood scoops...

actually the early 99's do still have DOHC.

The GT and L model grills are different, as are the hoods (the hood scoop). Most limiteds come with the side skirts and bumper lips painted, not sure why one wouldn't.

'97-'99 GT's all have the same grill, skirt/lip/rear valence package, hoodscoop, wheels, sunroof, 2.5 DOHC engine (later models have the phase II), etc...

'98 & '99 had the 'Limited' option (leather and color matching skirts/front lip/rear valence)

'97 have one piece headlights, '98 & '99 have two piece headlights.
