Legacy Dash light / correct removal

What year Legacy do you have?
I assume you're trying to remove the facia stuff around the radio?
It's pretty easy on 95-99 models.
Open the cup holder & remove the larger screws on either end of the holder receiver. You can now pull out the cup holder assembly.
Now look at the cubby hole, the thing where the ash tray goes. Use a butter knife-like instrument & lightly pry between the facia and the cubby hole to remove it.
There are two phillips that are installed vertically into the facia, so use a stubby screwdriver to remove them.
The lower facia piece can now be removed. The upper facia piece just snaps into the dash.

Be careful & proceed with caution.
