Just did painted cluster mod...
I finished this one up today, seems to have come out pretty well. I picked up the paint from a hobby store, color was called German Silver Metallic.

hey try the krylon fusions for plastic, they work awsome, i did thqat for my bezel around the gauges and the radio, it has a nice finish and it does not chip.
plus it has a nice adhering ability to stick to chrome, and glass

Looks pretty good. Does it look "painted" in person? was it hard to do well, I painted models a while ago, and they always looked painted rather than "real". Does it look like its truly made out of aluminum, or again like its simply painted silver? Cuz I've wanted the aluminum look and was thinking of buying overlays, but if this would give the same look, all the better (and cheaper)
I just want to be clear that I'm not trying to insult you or say its not good enough or anything, simply interested and would loke more details/specifics. And, Hopefully I don't sound toooo stupid Thank you.
