Exclamation JDM Black Chrome HIDs...

Ok ok... so there are soo many threads about this, but I've searched them all and found zero answers.

I have the jdm black chrome headlights. My problem --> no ballasts, no wire harness.

So... what should I do? Should I get aftermarket ballasts? If so, what kind should I get? I basically need to know the best solutions for my problem. Ideally I would like to pick up a set of OEM ballasts, but those are super rare and super expensive, unless anyone knows where I could pick up a set.

I know there has been people that have been in the same situation as me.

Thanks for the help!

Also.... will the ballasts off of a 2004 USDM STi work? My guess it probably not... but I really don't know. Anybody know?

You may not want to hear this, but you're basically screwed. There are some threads in the Electrical forum on NASIOC about this very issue, the best solution is to get the proper ballasts that go with your lights although this is not easy as you already know. Aftermarket ones will not work with the existing setup in the lights because they won't be compatible with the ignitors. You'd have to remove the ignitors and make modifications to the housings so the ballast output can be directly connected to the bulbs.
