No but you can get a ticket for cleared lights. It's illegal to run non-amber side markers and turn signals.

 

clear turn signals are 100% legal. I guess they can be real dicks and nab you for non-amber side markers

 

You are correct. The amber sidem marker is the issue. NO other cop cares. This cop is notorious and I live down the street from the precinct. I have no choice in the matter. He is a jerk.

New age Mercedes have totally clear housings with amber bulbs like the JDM lights, but on the bumper there is an amber lighted reflector. Same with Porsche.

If you drive an STi or EVO this guy will try to get ya.
