i wonder if this could be adapted to a Subaru...

it's a module that allows you to control your garage door without having to carry arround an opener. it wires into either your turn signals or high beams (or other 2 position switch), and allows you to use that switch to opent he door. it'd be sweet to be able to hit your hazards to open your garage door...

Hit your high beams and it kicks it on.
They've got a complete unit that comes with teh transmitter and the receiver for $99, but they took it off their website.

hmmm. if someone makes them, there must be some available somewhere. i'm getting tired of keeping my garage door opener in the little indentation in front of the shifter. maybe i'll go ahead and order one of the motofx ones, and see if i can make it work...
