Mine took about 10 mins...

Tools:
*Heat Gun/Hair Dryer
*Fishing Line/Dental Floss
*Goof Off/Goo Gone

That's it, it was very simple to do and I had NO letter outlines but still did a WAX/Polish job the next day

Looks GREAT to me!

I would also HIGHLY recommend that you NOT use a Credit Card.... Unless you don't care about your paint at ALL!! (some people MAY have been lucky and didn't cause any damage but the risk is VERY VERY VERY high doing it that way!!)

I didnt even heat it up. I just slid a old credit card behind the emblems and they came off in about 2 miniutes. Goo Bee Gone and your Good To Go.

Pour the paint thinner liberally around the letters. Don't mind any over spill, it's not a problem. Leave it for an hour or two.

Now take your big knife and make crazed jabbing moves around the letter edges. Try to stab hard between the letters and car body.

You can remove any residue with some wire wool, or by scraping it with a rock.

Yes that method worked very well for me. I love the finish on my trunk now

But a power saw worked better than the knife. For the parts of my trunk where I over cut, Bondo and pop rivits did the job.

* Chainsaw
* Laser cutter
* Flame thrower
* Massive two handed bastard sword
* ...etc... and so on...

Yes. I was joking. Again, for any tards out there - Don't get paint thinner anywhere near your car. And Don't stab your car, with anything. Be nice to it.
