Hood Scoop Delete

Thought I'd share, got a new hood scoop delete. I was worried it'll look to evo'ish, but actually it doesn't.

I like it...good stuff.

Wish I wasn't too cheap to buy a FMIC and a hugemongous turbo.

^^^^^ Yes, fitment is A++. The scoop aligned itself perfectly into that indentation and does not pop up anywhere from being uneven or from poor construction. The delete takes advantage of the entire open surface area of the hood. When looking into the mesh, it seems the rain would hit the transmission area primarily and not hit any vitals (i.e. battery, sensors, turbo). I'm happy

Yeah Jon, when I talked to Matt (KS Tech, btw he's the owner/ fabricator) he mentioned he was in the proccess of finishing the deletes for your type of hood.

Looking good Dan! I wish I had the OLOS to go front mount, but ahh, I guess I'll just have to stick with my STi scoop.

it looks great...I was thinking of going with a front mount and getting this, but I'm afraid that the front mount will mess me up at SCCA

How would it mess 'ya up? I always thought it'd be better 'cause there's more intercooler exposed to Mr Air and whatnot. Then again... I don't work for NASA and whatnot.
