HID Help! 8000k or 6000k
Im gonna be getting HID's soon for my Jdm Bugeye Projectors and i am wondering which kit i should get, the 8000k or 6000k. If i get pulled over with the HID, it is only a fix it ticket right? Im leaning towards 8000k. Any input is welcome, thanks!
6000k
although i'm running the 5000k brightstar kit... looks VERY white. was only $370

Im not trusting pics cuz with HID its very decieving. Im pretty much goin for the bling bling. I think im gonna go and buy the 8000k and if i dont like it i will sell it and buy the 6000k. Any pros and cons between them?
PS. Hey preston was the alignment on the headlights fine when you had them. They are kinda funky right now and need to adjust them.

uhm... anything beyond 4300K-4500K, you lose visibility.
Daylight is 4300K. The higher you go beyond this, the more you are going into the UV section of the visible light spectrum, and the LESS light you put out that can be reflected back. Sure, they look pretty and purple, but you see MUCH less.

"Color Temperature is a measurement in Degrees Kelvin that indicates the hue of a specific type of light source. Many people believe the misconception that color temperature is a rating of the brightness of the bulb or HID kit. This belief is completely false. The reality of the matter is that the higher the color temperature, the less useable light output you will obtain."
