help removing the stock clock housing

I'm trying to make it so that the clock doesnt dim and become pretty much invisible when the lights are on in teh daytime, but I cant get that hosuing out. I got the two plastic clips in the back out, but I cant tell if you just have to pull hard to get the front ones out, or if there is some trick. Its an 02 WRX by the way.....thanks for the help guys

I yanked mine out with my bare hands, no reason to scratch the dash with a screwdriver... Just get a grip and pull straight up, it popped right out.
