Okay, so I am scheduled to swap my interior with an 05 STi, however in 05 Subaru didn't have the automatic passenger airbag display on the clock based on the weight of the passenger. SO, did Subaru still have that sensor and just not display it OR was the passenger airbag always on?

I just don't want to swap the two front seats and not have my airbag sensors work or throw a CEL or anything. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Prior to 06 there was no passenger airbag sensor, it was always active. If any components of the system are missing, you will have a constant airbag warning light (not a CEL).

 

I'm no longer planning on swapping with an 05 so no need to worry. Thanks though
