Help with Boost Gauge install

Check out this site, its got an excellent stey by step boost guage install.
There is also a link to the oem boost guage install instructions (pdf) that will come in handy. The pdf shows where to get the power wire you need from behind the radio.

do u think this would work on an sti? with an aftermarket autometer gaugE?
but my gauge is going to be located on the left panel.
