Heated Seats
I was wondering if it was possible to convert non heated seats to heated seats. Do i just install a few switches or is it part of the wiring harness. Thanks
Typically if there is a model in the lineup that has the feature, then all of the wiring harnesses have the wiring in them for that feature. So if there is an Impreza with heated seats then the wires are probably already there.
As you should be able to tell from my wording I don't have a specific answer for you. Try searching nasioc as well as here, and please post whatever you learn.
Good luck,

I've seen aftermarket kits for heated seats...but I can't find them right now. Also, you could try to find someone who bought the WRX with the premium package but doesn't want heated seats. Or talk to a Subaru dealer about getting the seats or maybe the factory kit for heating seats.
since the rs (sport pkg) and wrx (prem. pkg) share the exact same seat base (different back cuz wrx has side bags)..you could theoretically get wrx bases and dash switch and be cool....the wiring is there no doubt...but you also might need a relay if it's not already in the switch...i'll look into it further when my buns start gettin' cold!
I would be surprised if the car was not wired for the heaters. So the only problem becomes finding the heaters and switches. those parts should be available at the dealership. If not, I know autoleathers.com sells heaters with their leather kits. Iam not sure if they sell them seperately
check nasioc again...someone there with a Canadian spec. RS says the harness is under the door sills, and is light blue in color. He also goes on to say that you need a relay ($40 from Subaru) and the 20 a fuse is already there
