Headlights On

Hey all I'm a new subaru owner, (recently purchased 07 SWP sti) and i was wondering if how i could turn off the headlights manually. It seems as if they're always on when the parking brake is off. can anyone help me with this?

I've spent time reading on those but some of the photos for the STI method are expired and it seems as if the only solution left is to cut something. Is there possibly another method with some pictures that doesnt require cutting anything?
