the scoop is made by MRT in australia, it cost me alot of money, but i am the first to have it (and still have not heard of anybody else getting one yet)

I paid an extra $200.00 to have it airmailed to me.

seems like alot, but I like to be original.

if you do a search, yuo should be able to find other posts with more pics on here (or the other forums)

for those asking about the side markers... I picked up a pair of eurolite's truck lights. They had the right shape, and i liked the rounded/bubble lense instead of the JDM flat lense.

i taped off a good section of the panel in case i slipped (the tape might avoid light scratches.)

I printed off a few pics of JDM STi's and eyeballed the location on the fender.

The install was nerve-racking, but i used the rubber gasket that came with the lenses to make a mark, then drilled out the holes with a hole saw, and a drill bit.

after you drill you have to put primer along the edges to prevent rust from starting.

I had the whole car re-painted so I did the drilling the day before it went in.

close enough, now cover the area in masking tape.... then stand back and have a friend hold the lense on the fender until it is in the right position. When you are happy with the location, use the rubber gasket to mark out the area that gets cut out.

for those, you will probably want to use a dremel tool, that can cut straight lines, and a drill bit for the holes.

tip** i bought stainless steel bolts instead of the mild steel screws to help prevent rust **

tip2** LIGHTLY spray the bulb with silver paint, the bulb will blend into the socket and look clear when off, but the light will still shine through**

and don't forget to post pics when you are finished

and what kind? 4500K,5000k,7000k I heard that if I increase the color temp.I will get less pure white :for Xample with 7000k you get a blueish color and with a 10000K you get near purple. Is that true
?????????
That's true... 4300K is the most efficient and the highest light output but the brightest white will be 5000K or 5300K. Anything over that will start getting bluer and more purple and less usable light, pretty much for show only. There are a few good threads out there discussing this.
