My expirence with aftermarket bodyparts is that they almost never line up perfectly. Whether it be motorcycle or car parts you almost always need to do some extra work to get them to look right. How big are the gaps around the scoop? You could try some black epoxy to fill the gaps. What i would do if they arent huge gaps is run down to home depot and pick up some black weatherstripping. You can cram it in those gaps and just epoxy it in or something. If you take your time I would think it should look clean.
