Good price?
So there are some bi xenon headlights for sale on NASIOC. I was just wondering if it's a good deal. The guy wants $650 plus $15 for shipping. I was just wondering if it'd be better to get the JDM STi Bugeye headlights or if this is a better deal. I may pick these up depending on responses/input in a couple of weeks if still available.

or... is this a better deal?

alright, cool. Yea i was guessing that would be best. The cutoff for the bixenon looks amazing but the jdm set does look nicer aesthetically. thanks. the jdm set it is.
If you are after truly better lighting performance, the retrofit is the way to go. They are proper HIDs with the correct beam pattern.
Looks aside, the JDM lights are RHD and therefore the wrong beam pattern for driving on US roads, this means less usable light for you and light directed into the eyes of oncoming drivers. While it is possible (and a lot of work) to disassemble the projectors and modify the internal plates to eliminate the rising portion of the beam, the result will still not be as effective as proper LHD lights.
If you are set on the look of the JDMs, at least look for a set of the EDM lights which are essentially the same but with the right pattern.

Get EDM headlights. I've had Morrettes, JDM and EDM headlights on my bugeye and the EDM's look amazing and they don't blind oncoming traffic. Although the black/chrome JDM looks blingin the EDM is a little more subtle and they still look amazing.

So I should be on the lookout for some EDM's. Well, probably gonna be a bit difficult to find, but I suppose that may be something to save up for. Thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it.
