front end cover (aka "bra")
i'm concerned about all the "traction aids" that get spread out on the roads in the sierras. it seems like part of the snow-clearing procedure involves laying down some sand or something similiar to help provide better traction for vehicles. that's great & all, but it really makes for a really dirty & scuffed up car once back fr: a trip to tahoe. i was wondering if a bra could be used on the wrx since it seems that it may interfere w/ the airflow to the hood scoop. the impreza brochure lists one as an available option, but says that the wrx is excluded. is that the reason?
i realize that i may just be a little too much of a worry-wart it re: to chips & abrasions fr: debris meant to make driving safer, but my baby is only 12-days-old & 315 mi to her name.
pls. give advice to a proud but paranoid papa who just got 8 ft of fresh in the past 6 days w/ even more in the next few!

Invica Shield
Just installed an Invinca Shield kit on my WRX Wagon. Easy to do and really is almost imposible to see. My wifes car has less than 10k miles and its loaded with rock chips, its so nice to know my Suby is protected. Best $300 I ever spent.
