Front bumper scratch, how important to touch up?
I accidentally scratched my front bumper when I took off the passenger side headlight a couple days ago. The scratch is located near when the high beams are, on top of the round shape section on the front bumper. I basically scratched off the paint (I see black) in a straight line for maybe 1cm or 2. My question is, should I be worried and cover it with touch up paint ASAP, or don't really need to do anything... I dunno if the front bumper (plastic) also rusts or not.
Unless its a chip thats on one of the seams of the body pieces where the paint is extremely thin, you run little risk of the blemish getting worse. The bumper doesn't rust, but if you take repeated sandblasting while driving, it may be a good idea to get the scratch covered up, at least with some invisible tape or something.

Yes I got pen It takes a little practice to use, i suggest you follow the instructions and practice on the color macth card they send u. I also bought the little bottle of rubbing compand to help blend the paint and clear coat with the factory paint.

Thanks for the tips...
Has anyone used the spray can touch-up paint from Paintscratch? I have a nasty scrape on my front lip which is down near the bottom; I'd rather not pay $700 to repaint the whole bumper, and if I get some runs or drips no one will notice in that location... Any techniques to share?
