fog lights on my '00 gt

Does anyone out there with a '00 or newer Gt legacy know how to get the fog lights out of the bumper without damageing them? I got a set of Hella xenon bulbs to replace the H3's but can't figure out how to get at the existing bulbs.

Any help would be great.

this may or may not help but in both my 97 and 02' outbacks I got to the bulbs from the rear. I had to drop down the plastic wheel well liner just in front of the bumper. Have a look here:

Since you have H3, bulbs you won't have to deal with the screws at least only that little lever.

fog light replacement.

Thanks a bunch.
I tried removing the splash gaurd the other day but thought better of it as I was going. I guess I got a little squimish, but if thats the method then I'll just start again. Hadn't thought of the wheel ramps... more room to see under there.

Thanks again.

Let me know how it goes and I'll add your thoughts and what you find out to that page.

Good luck,
