i'm looking to get some better fog lights for my 99RS.

i understand that Hella is one of the top makers of lights. but, i've no doubt that there are other makers out there.

so, i'm asking for opinions of you crazy subaru people.

what do the rally style drives use? are they legal on the open road? are there specific ones used for cutting thru fog?

and, on top of all that, i'm looking to purchase some steel mesh fog light coves (i'd rather not have pesky rocks destroying my fog lights).
