i just ordered a turbo xs fmic and was wondering how much of the bumper do i need to cut on the 04 wrx? and what type of tools?
if anyone have pics, that would be great.

 

I dont know how much you have to cut but if you are cutting any thing and you have a good air compressor go get your self a die-grinder with a cuttoff wheel. that is the one tool i have never regretted buying.

 

You'll cut out a good chunk of it.
All that bllack stuff is going to have to come out. You may want to just get the fmic get it installed and then cut from there.

Oh and use a dremel if you don't have anything else. I used a sharp knife to clean it up the cuts I made.
