Exhaust systems

Does anyone know of a good muffler for my 2000 2.5RS sedan. im looking for a deep sound like a mustang or camaro not a fart pipe like civics. Anyone know of a good exhaust system that fits this description?

hum...why sould like a mustang? if you really like the sound buy real V8. anyways, I have magnaflow myself, and heard almost all the exhaust for RS, the best gotta be stromung. anything pair up with borla header

actually, most exhausts you put on the wrx will sound like a v8 and not like a civic because of the boxer motor and its header design. you will require new headers to make it sound like a non-boxer engine car.

heh heh performance headers will give u MORE boxer sound =)

Car Info: full race 02 Prodrive widebody with 2.5 Cosworth

Try going with no muffler, thats what I did and I really like the sound. Its much deeper, not to mention free.

I really don't think WRX sound like a V8 at all, it's just a pure boxer sound. mustang v8 sounds too empty, while boxer have that nice "don don don" sound....

no muffler

no muffler, I have actualy been thinking of trying that for a while now....with a good bold on muffler being like 450 bucks ud save alot. now u say it sounds good..... what did u do....just straight cut off the muffler or take it off at the flange .....I was thinking of getting a stromung mid section and then finding a 2 1/4 flange to attach a big exaust tip to =)
