Driving at night really dark?

Quick question I have an '06 WRX and it seems as if my instrument panel and radio backlights when driving at night are really really dim. Also when the headlights are on, you can barely see the radio station you're on. I've looked around but couldn't find anything specific...anyone know how to crank up the juice or how to install brighter bulbs?

My head hurts from reading the title of the thread.

You can toggle the brightness of the instrument panel and radio backlights where the headlight switch is.
