crazy thread...i just returned home from kragen with new bulbs because my headlight silver stars went out within a week of each other....they're possibly 6 months old...and one of my fogs went within a month of puttin them in...> SILVER STARS SUCK THE ROYAL DICK!!!!

The sylvania xtra brights or whatever are cheap, and work really well. They give a whiter light than regualr halogen, and are actually brighter.

you can also try HELLA bulbs.

another thing to look at is how often you drive with your lights on, it shouldnt make the difference between 4 months and 1+ years.

^^^maybe that would explain it cause I never turn my lights off since they auto off when the key is out. but I did the same thing with the stock bulbs.....

Yes! They are more yellowish, but put out more light and last a whole lot longer than the Sylvania's.

I got the Osrams about a month and a half ago... still working good... they sent me free corner lights to match them as well...

we'll see how long they last.

heard those are pretty good and lasts long. and yea i also heard that the sylvania silverstars have short lifespan too. never actually experienced any of this, but this is what ive been hearing
