Disabled DRL, now high beam doesn't work

Disabled DRL, now high beam doesn't work
I've got an 04 WRX and I removed the plug under the glove box and the DRLs are disabled, now my high beams don't work. They work when u pull the blinker toward you to flash them, they dont work if u push it away from you to keep them on.
Anyone know why??
