Did Omori North America shut down?

Someone told me the other day that Omori North America shut down. Has anyone else heard this? I was in contact with their sales director, Greg, over a botched order and in late October he dropped off the face of the Earth. Last e-mail I got from him, he told me some story about the factory in Japan closing down for 2 weeks?! Something does sound fishy.:-/

Anyone from Omori on I-Club? Can you clear this up? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Quote from NASIOC:

... yesterday.

They said O-NA and Japan are splitting up, and lawyers are involved. So, O-NA is probably going belly up.

Outlook is that dealers in the states are going to go direct to Japan for product.

Most of this is unconfirmed, but is what I heard as of yesterday.

"Ormori USA told us Monday that due to "irreconcilable differences" they will no longer be importing any product from Ormori Meter Mfg. So as of no Ormori does not exist in North America.

....

Greg from Omori NA just replied and basically told me that they can't get help from Omori Japan for my order and that I should contact Omori Japan myself.

I wouldn't buy anything from Omori NA again.
