But the problem is that there may be fading. I doubt it happened so early though.

there shouldnt be any fading after a week. unless your car has been sitting in the lot for a year already.

Fadeing happens alot quicker than you think. I have marks that are almost unnoticiable and i tool mine off after about 4 months of having it.
