My 05' STi told me something this morning on the Trip Odometer, "ILL.4". It came on for about 3 seconds and went away. I called the dealer after I scanned for any codes, of which there weren't any, and they have never heard of this. The car runs great! No problems.
Has anyone ever experienced this before?

 

... maybe it was an opinion? Like, the car was telling you - "That was "ILL" - Level 4!"...

i'm guessing this isn't a joke...

try adjusting your interior dim lights (circular switch on the left stalk) and see if your "problem" reoccurs

Trip odometer hu? That tells how many miles you went per trip, so you must have just taken a trip in the amount of ILL.4 miles...oh...I see the problem...ILL isn't a unit of measurment. Sorry J/K

 

Thanks for the help - Seranin, I just learned I'm a retard and the owners manual was printed and put in my vehicle for a reason.....

 

wait, so what does it mean? does it signify anything about the dimming?

 

Whats even more scary is that he took the car to the dealer for this and they didnt know what it was either. I mean they even scanned the car! LOL
