I put in the Subaru rubber mats and had the same problem until I got some velcro from Home depot now they don't move at all, it worked really well.

For me it is the passanger side that tends to move.

my mats dont move i just have a problem with my driver side mat shedding. it sheds where i place my heals for the clutch and the gas.
