Crank windows into a WRX?

This is a thought, and I was wondering how this could be done...

that could be cool, I didnt know they made a base model w/ roll ups but if they did you should be able to get all the parts from the factory and just swap em in. IMHO its not worth the effort, if you want weight savings take out your spare tire, if you want more start removing sound deadening

The 2005 Lancer EVO RS will actually have roll up windows, no power door locks, no wing, no floormats, etc. It's supposed to save about 150lbs and be about $27,000.

The RS's price is nice, but saving 150lbs is chump change. Get a fatty co-driver and kiss those weight-savings goodbye!
You'll probably need to cut a hole in your inner panel in order to install the crank and handle.

Saving 150lbs is not chump change. Just ask Gary Sheehan.

I don't think it's worth it. I hate crank windows myself.

Carbon fiber door card = no power switches.

Roll ups needed...
