clock problems

my clock works intermittently. i'll turn on the car and it will work sometimes. it doesn't stay on any longer than a few minutes then it goes out. i don't think i have seen it on for a month or so now. the clock is getting power though. anybody had similar problems?

Wow, that's weird. My clock was doing the exact same thing and it finally died, bless it's little heart. I was going to pull it out this weekend and see if I can fix it. I'll keep you updated.

This is often caused by a bad solder connection inside the clock. If you know how to deal with this it can probably be repaired by a few minutes with a soldering iron.

unfortunately i think the clock is dead. i just got done taking it apart and everything seemed in order with the exception of what almost looks like an oil spot on the inside of the glass, like somethin' got cooked. bummer
