Climate Control
Hello,
I own a '97 Liberty GX (Australian) and i was wonderinig if could replace the standard HVACs controller, dials and *****, with the climate controller (temperature based setting) from a RX/Heritage. If so, would this be a simple swap job?
Regards

Unfortunately, we never had the automatic climate control units here in the US, so it's going to be hard for any of us to say.
The unit probably bolts in, but it's anybody's guess as to how much of the wirirng harness is already there for it, and how much you'd have to create from scratch, find temp sensors, etc.
Your best bet might be to ask a dealer in Aus. who's dealt with the units, though....
sorry

Thanks champ, it's a better start then what I originally had. I supppose I call one of the edalers and see what his thought on it is. I'm guessing that if i do need a additional wiring harness I should be able to plug in the correct one straight from a RX liberty, as with the temp sensors. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks
Thanks
