check out my scratch

hey. i was stupid and i closed the garage door when the trunk was up. A screw on the door ran over the trunk. It goes from the top, across the "a" and almost to the handle.
anyways. i was wondering if you guys could give me an estimate, or guess on how much it'd cost.

how deep is it?
i would fix it cause your car is still new. i usually use the age test. if the car is new in your heart then fix it but if you feel that its too old then forget it. by the look of it fix it. maybe you can just buff it out.

hmm... i've used a buff before. doesn't that just take the paint that was transfered onto my car off?

if you buff it enough it actually goes a bit down more then the upper level of paint. but if you plan to repaint then this would be cheaper to try first.

meguares scratch x worked really well for me, a piece off dry wall fell off a truck and part of it was thrown up on my hood and then on to my roof, it got all those swirls and lillt sractches out. i can not tell how deep the scratch is, is it to the metal?

Sratch-X is great stuff. Give it a try, it is only $7 a tube.

if you see metal then u an tell its to the metal O.o;; smart people these days jpjp anyways yeah juss make sure u cant see any silver i have a black sooby also, and i know how it is very difficult from keeping it from getting scratched. my trick is use compound clay get the big stuff out, and then use scratch x, make sure ur car is clean and then wax and buff it should make it look nicer then what it is now. if not paint or even carbon fiber trunk =)
