I am going to be changing my parking light wedge bulb to an amber LED soon. I picked ground shipping when I ordered them so it looks like it is going to take some time. But it sounds like the LEDs that I ordered, and some others from this site will fit. I'll let you know if they fix when I get them.
I got them from http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm
I ordered the 6LED 168/194 bulbs, but like I said I havn't got them in yet.
I made a post https://www.i-club.com/forums/interior-exterior-lighting-69/parking-lights-85768/ about buying some. It looks like BillJC and Meilers have them. I think meilers got them for his side markers.

Wedge bulbs do fit. I've got them.
Let me know how the rear light LED's look. The one's That I have seen just don't disperse the light that well and it ends up looking a lot more dim than with standard bulbs. But, it also depends on the LED bulb used. Some have radial LED's that throw the light out in a circular pattern. Anyway, let us know it looks. Post pics if you can.

AFAIK, the few cars that do use LED lighting from the factory tend to use entire "banks" of LEDs that take up a wide area, rather than a single LED cluster or bulb -- probably to avoid the problem we are discussing.
I replaced my parking lights (the ones in the headlights) with amber LED bulbs. That way, I won't have to go to the trouble of ever having to replace them (hopefully). I did have blue LEDs in there, but then I wised up (plus, the car wouldn't pass state inspection like that).
I will also agree that LEDs don't disperse the light well, so you might as well leave the side markers as the factory incandescent bulbs...
