center visor ?

My 2005 lacks the center visor the 2004 had. They replaced it with a tint on the windshield was does not work well enough when driving into the sun. Does anyone know how to get the button out of the headliner in that location without damaging it to see if I can mount the 2004 visor there?

thats not a center visor...it blocks the glare from the map lights. It won't block much sunlight at all.

odd - it blocks sunlight just fine for me...

For the original question - remove the maplight assembly (pop out the lens, then remove the screws holding it in place) - that will let you get under the headliner - if you get your fingers under the headliner, you should have enough leverage to pop out the button without damaging it. I know I have seen threads on this before (maybe over on nasioc) where people have done this mod.

Werd.
That's what I did, took the visor off and put the V1 there.
