carbon fiber paint

hey guys i was wondering if i could paint some parts of my car carbon fiber? i saw this one time on tv west coast customs painted a car and made it look like it was carbon fiber bythe pain but it really wasnt. does any one know how to gdo this? if so can you please let me know ?

Please tell me your kidding, it looks bad enough when people leave carbon body parts un-painted.

but... regarding the question.... I believe that that was a laminate of some sort. I'm almost positive they didn't use paint on.... ahem... pimp my ride

It looks out of place, like when you get in an accident and replace the hood with a differant color one before u paint it.

I use to hate the look of it... but it totally grew on me. It looks best on white cars and most other bright colors. doesn't look all that great on darker colors, IMO....

oh, and to add to the subject... I do not believe that they can replicate CF with paint... if so, that is one expensive paint job... take a really close look as something that is real CF and you'll see what I mean....
