but... regarding the question.... I believe that that was a laminate of some sort. I'm almost positive they didn't use paint on.... ahem... pimp my ride

I use to hate the look of it... but it totally grew on me. It looks best on white cars and most other bright colors. doesn't look all that great on darker colors, IMO....

oh, and to add to the subject... I do not believe that they can replicate CF with paint... if so, that is one expensive paint job... take a really close look as something that is real CF and you'll see what I mean....
