Car wont lock while blitz turbo timer counts down?
Ok, I got a Blitz Fatt 2 turbo timer used from a friend at crack head prices. He has a WRX like me so I got the wiring harness with it. The first problem I saw when I went to install it was the end of the harness that plugs into the turbo time box was a 3 pin female connecter and the connecter on the box was a 4 pin male connecter. So I assumed he had the harness for the Fatt 1 not 2, so I removed the connecters and hand wired it. The harness red, green and blue went to the boxes red, green and blue, the black from the box was grounded and purple from the box was wired to pink E-Brake wire. The last wire from the harness (white) was not hooked to anything. I was told this was an accessory wire and to just cap it. Should this be grounded? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Drew

That is because it is not suposed to. To get that to work you need to do some cutting and splicing under the dash. I did it and I will say its not all that hard.

I have an HKS turbo timer and I had the same problem. You have to access the black keyless entry box above the fuse box behind the dash (behind the fog light and cruise control switches). The box is held on by one or two 10mm bolts. Take it off and look for the dark green wire with the black stripe. Make sure it is the dark green wire. Next you have to cut this wire and tape off the end with electrical tape. Reinstall everything and now the doors should lock while the turbo timer is counting down. You might be a little worried about doing this (I know I was) but if you cut the right wire it will work.
