CA: Legal to use yellow film?

CA folks,

Is it legal to use the yellow rockblocker film over our foglights? Is the application difficult?

Thanks.

i dont think so..i have the yellow film on my fogs. there are cars that come with yellow fogs from the factory such as the IS300. yellow fogs help visibility more than they harm.

Hmm...

Anyone else? I'm thinking since they did not come on the car 'stock' it would be illegal or something.
