I tried doing a search but couldn't find the answer. My driver side headlight is out. High beams work, turn signal works but not the low beams. Is the easiest way to change the bulb to remove the headlight? Or is it easier to just remove the battery and make space that way? I have an 06 wrx by the way. Obviously I've never done it before so I just want to make sure I don't make more work for myself than I need to. Thanks in advance

remove the battery, unscrew a black cap thats there and you'll see a metal piece with 2 screws holding the bulb in place, unscrew them remove clip....real easy
And be sure you do NOT touch the new bulbs with your fingers. The oils from your skin will get on the glass and cause a heat barrier which will make the bulb overheat and burn out quickly. If you think the bulb has gotten any contaminants on it, clean the glass with some alcohol before you install it.
