argh! HID problems

I just finished clearing out the headlights on my 05 sti. I followed every procedure correctly and it came out great. BUT, it seems that the hid leveling motor is broken/affected. The beams does not go up or down as much, and when I adjust it to the highest setting, the beams does not seem high at all.

Can anybody verify the problem and how to fix it? Should I just take it to the dealer and have them look at it? Thanks.

The threads on the motor turning screw thing should have 7 threads on it. then make sure it pops into place on the reflector.
