Anyone else have frozen windows?

So I'm a little new to the cold weather, and I've had my windows freeze on me the last couple of mornings. It starts to go down just a bit, then stops. I don't really push it, but I don't think the motor is strong enough to break whatever ice is blocking it.

So is this normal and I just have to deal with it? Or should I try to get at the mechanism and grease it up? I've got Dynamat all along my door, so it will be tricky, but I'd rather do that than lose the window motor.

Thanks.

maybe try using a little warm water?

I always put a blanket over the top of the car so it covers the windows, it keeps away the morning dew and in turn the ice...
