I would imagine they are but I don't want find out the hard way that I'm wrong. I want to ditch my uncomfortable stock seats for either sti or wrx Recaros. I REALLY like the seats from the '02 wrx, they are very comfortable imo. Any input is appreciated. I have an '06 Wagon btw.

 

Yes they are, pretty sure from93-07 they are interchangeable

 

So I guess my next question is how big of a role do the airbags play in a seat swap situation? And what year did they start putting them in the seats?
