12V Outlet in trunk.

I just put a replacement outlet in my ride. It was pretty easy. All you need is a hot wire that can handle the amps your cooler's power needs, and a good ground point. My advice would be to use a wire that goes to something that is only powered while you have the car running or in ACC. Saves you from coming back to a dead battery. Windshield wiper wires (pre-switch) are good candidates. Dont wire the outlet to your stereo lead, especially if you have an amp and subs. When the bass hits hard, the power it draws from your head unit will cause it to turn off and reset, and possibly mess up whatever you have connected to the outlet. Have fun. Peace.
