Question '06 Sti hood issue

Hey, just got my 06 Sti, and now that the engine is finally broken in, I'm starting to haul serious ***. Anyhow, I've found that at speeds over 100 (and only at these speeds), that the front of the hood seems to be rising, since air is pushing it upwards from underneath. Are any other '06 owners (any impreza) seeing this happen too? (pay attention to the part of the hood that is adjacent to the fender area near the headlights-it'll look like you're driving around with the hood not totally clamped shut)

Huh. I just thought it was a new problem because I never noticed it on my 02 WRX.
But if you say so...

correction, on 06 STIs the hood scoop is the same as on 06 WRXs. anyhow, I don't see how a large hood scoop will cause the front of the hood to lift/raise up. I've also noticed that in cross winds, the side of the hood being struck will lift up as well.

crappy hood design = crappy drag coefficient = crappy gas mileage

YET - I freakin LOVE my car
