'05 center console in an '04

'05 center console in an '04

I know that in the '05 wrx that the ebrake is on the wrong side so that center piece would not work on an '04, but why could you not get that center piece from an JDM wrx? I would think that the rest of the console would fit together fine after that one hurdle. What does anybody else think?

judging just from the looks- it appears it might work.

do you have an 05 dash? if so keep in mind that the ac controls are different as well. the 05 has automatic climate control with temperature sensor.

The '05 Rs uses the same air condition controls as the '04 Wrx so I could just get that part and the top part of the center console from a JDM Wrx, so where could I get that part from over seas?

Don't forget...the mirror controls on the 05's are on the driver's side door...so either be prepared to do some fancy cutting and rewiring, or be prepared to buy new door panels AND do the wiring...
