i was thinking about converting the front end of an 06 STi to the front end of the 05'. I heard since the dimensions are the same that it shouldn't be that hard - all i would have to do is buy:


2 front fenders

bumper & grill

headlamp fittings

hood.

what do you guys think, is it possible?

 

Yes you can interchange the body panels from an 02-06

Don't forget hoodscoop and fog covers. Also double check the wiring harness (lights) from the 05 and 06 to make sure they use the same connectors.

 

I like the looks of the '06 better.

 

The only things I like about the 06 are it's NEW and projector headlights HID.

 

then y didnt u just buy a 05? if u want the front end to look like that

 

if there were any new ones left belive me i would.
