04 WRX seats

Ok what do you think of them. Are they comfortable? Supportive? Good quality? etc. I'm looking into buying some for my 99 OBS, and am looking for any and all thoughts and opinions on them. I'm looking for opinions from everyone but I'm 6ft 150lbs, so if ur similar, comfort opinions would probably be more meaningful. (For comfort I'd go sit in them, but I'm stuck in Indiana for the next few weeks, and I think owners (ppl who've been in the car for more than a 2 mi test drive) have more valuable and insightful opinions anyways) Thanks a lot for any responses, and sorry about the oddness of it I've been thinking of getting them for a while, but too expensive, and don't know if they're really worth it, but I kinda have a deal right now, so speed is great

Thanx

i got an 05 rs and i got them in my car. they are really comfortable. i saw some on ebay for 450 bucks. the material is really cool because anything will clean right off with a wet cloth. i love my seats. im a little taller than six feet and i fit in them and i weigh 140 ( im only 16). but yeah u cant go wrong with these seats. everyone that drives with me loves them excpet for fat ppl.

i'm 6'1" and 210lbs.
i think they fit pretty well. the only small problem is getting out.

however, smaller people do complain about it, because its "hard" to get out and what not.

Damn, those were the ones I was looking at and (because of you) were sold before I could act. but still interested. Since its hard for me to go to a dealer, I was wondering if someone would answer these stupid questions. How different is the color of the center of the seat from the sides (pics may help)? and Does the rear seat have head restraints/rests and a center armrest? Thank you a ton

I love them! I's about 5'-9" 135lbs. They feel real suportave to me. There are only 2 problems. 1) If you ever get crumbs in the mesh part of them....good luck! 2) When ever I open the driver side door after it rains water will drip right on the side bolster and leave like a "salt stain". Has anyone had that problem before?? Let me know becuase I need to know how easy it is to clean. Also what to use to clean the stains out.

i have them, im 5'7" 160 lbs, and it is a little bit hard getting out sometimes, cuz my fat butt doesnt wanna get over the lip on the sides. it feels good, but i heard people like the 02-03 seats because they're more comfy. i rode in an 02, and maybe it was just because his seats were more broken it, but it felt like it was more supportive and it grabbed me better. but i like my 04 seats they look cooler than the 02-03 seats. i dont like the blue design in the older seats. and my 04 seats hold my butt better in the turns. must be the mesh design.

I like how the 04 seats have that Racing seat look. The intergrated head rest is key!

This guy you got the seats from has a lot of good stuff. He is local in LA and i keep close touch with im once he get stuff in. He just got a STI today and i have already purchased the complete STI interior, ie, all seats, door panels and carpet off him. will goto his yard on sunday to pick them up.

Other things i am getting from him this sunday:

STI AC control and bezel
STI shift panel, boot and shift ****

And we are still working on a price for the complete set of brakes off the STI...

Is he a junkyard type thing? I agree that he's pretty awesome, great prices, and insanely fast/cheap shipping. He's very busy though
